Warsaw where to stay
Something special for those who appreciate art and design. From the renowned Warsaw graphic arts firm Mamastudio, who engineered both the décor and the exceptionally friendly atmosphere of the place.
Author Rooms consists of four rooms in a large apartment inside a beautiful historical building. Their interiors were conceived by the architect Matthew Baumiller, who used items created especially for them by Polish designers and graphic artists. Room 1410, with its cube-like bathroom, is the smallest but also the cosiest, while Room 2020 is the biggest and brightest, thanks to its large windows. The latter also features a huge mirror, spacious closets, mouldings, panelling and custom-made lamps. A little further down the hall, one can find Room 1777 – white like a wedding dress – and room 1968, which is in fact a suite consisting of two rooms… and a cactus!
There is also a common area for guests, which is decorated with murals and features a bar, as well as a large table.
PS. If you take a particular liking to any of the design elements, feel free to ask the owners, who will put you in touch with the right person – the designer, that is!
