Warsaw where to go out
Weles (Veles) is a Slavic deity, patron of magic, music and wealth. His faithful followers have built him an underground temple hidden in a yard, without a sign. Mysterious dances are performed here under the crystal chandelier and the zinc ceiling imported from the distant USA.
The bar acts as an altar and was carved out of wood from a British carousel – however it is not the carousel that makes one’s head spin, but the great cocktails prepared by expert barmen. Thanks to them, you will get to know fabulous flavours and their matching names: Essence Excellence, Purple Reign, Bubble Pepper, Penicillin, Turmoil at Queen’s Park, or Shy Plum.
But beware – those who try these secret potions may get lost in Weles’ abyss… and not just for one night!
